Além dessa barragem, há outras seis de risco no estado do Rio. Isso significa que, caso há rompimento ou vazamento, pode causar mortes e altos danos sociais, econômico e ambientais. O local fica a menos de 500 metros da Via Dutra e do Rio Paraíba do Sul que abastece mais de 7,5 milhões de pessoas. (Quadro do jornal Extra)."

Barragem em BM tem risco contra a vida e ao meio ambiente, diz relatório 1p5u2z
Poucas pessoas sabem, mas há uma barragem de rejeitos na altura da Vila do Remédio, entre Quatis e Barra Mansa. Lá, que é de propriedade da empresa Tupi e estaria desativada há quatro anos. No local, há 240 mil metros cúbicos de rejeitos.
Estudos do órgãos federais, divulgados pelo jornal O Globo neste domingo (3), mostram que a barragem está entre os sete locais considerados de alto dano associado (DPA). Além dessa barragem, há outras seis de risco no estado do Rio.
Isso significa que, caso há rompimento ou vazamento, pode causar mortes e altos danos sociais, econômico e ambientais.
O local fica a menos de 500 metros da Via Dutra e do Rio Paraíba do Sul que abastece mais de 7,5 milhões de pessoas. (Quadro do jornal Extra).
